The Brief aims to inform with balanced coverage, rigurous analysis and context on how policy decisions ripple through markets, in the form of a weekly summary of the most important events and the key takeaways from their influence on the market.

About The Author
I am an economics student with a strong interest in financial markets and macroeconomic developments. I study International Economic Studies at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen–Nuremberg in Germany, work as a student assistant at the Chair of Public Finance, and am currently gaining practical experience as an audit intern in Stuttgart.
My interest in finance began early, sparked during my teenage years by the Wirecard scandal, which showed me how fragile trust, incentives, and oversight in financial markets can be. I started this blog to share clear, rational perspectives on markets and economics.
