About The Author

I am an economics student with a strong interest in financial markets and macroeconomic developments. I currently study International Economic Studies at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen–Nuremberg and work as a student assistant in public finance.

My interest in finance began early—sparked during my teenage years by the Wirecard scandal, which showed me how fragile trust, incentives, and oversight in financial markets can be. I started this blog to share clear, rational perspectives on markets and economics, focused on fundamentals rather than noise.

A neatly arranged workspace featuring a sleek, silver laptop open to a detailed line graph of recent market performance, with a glass paperweight and a single, muted blue ceramic mug on either side. The desk is a pale stone surface free of clutter, set against a backdrop of frosted glass and neutral-toned walls. Subtle, indirect daylight streams in, casting soft highlights on the laptop and creating gentle edge definition. Captured from an overhead, bird’s-eye perspective using a rule-of-thirds composition that emphasizes structure and analytical clarity. The mood is calm, organized, and purposeful, rendered in photographic realism with a minimalist corporate aesthetic.
